In Lelystad, Van Berlo is working on Bestseller’s distribution center, a large-scale, highly automated complex with stringent sustainability requirements designed by Henning Larsen that will achieve BREEAM Outstanding certification.

For this project, the original design of the pile foundation and floor was revised and replaced with a solution utilizing Van Berlo Mini Vibropiles and Greymatter technology. Due to the automation, the requirements for floor performance were particularly high. The design was tailored accordingly in collaboration with the automation contractor.
